Robots are not sentient. They do not have ‘jobs’, they will only perform tasks. The disruption will only be understood with tasks as the correct unit of analysis. Tasks per hour per dollar will be the corresponding cost metric. In the beginning the disruption will come with the amount of tasks a robot can perform. This will be relatively high expensive but over the next 10 years the hours it can work for less and less will be dramatic.
